A Festival Wedding

What an awesome wedding! For those that like planning, thinking outside the box and generally throwing one hell of a party then perhaps a festival themed wedding is for you?
It certainly was for Fiona & Tom. They found a field just outside West Meon in Hampshire, hired in a giant tipi and held their own mini-festival affectionately know as TIFI.

It’s no mean feat putting together a wedding such as this. Starting with a field (once you’ve located one of those) you literally have everything to organise. A structure, catering, music and then utilities too! Water, electric, toilets!
I can officially confirm that they nailed it! The tipi looked stunning as ever from The Utopian Tent Company  and they also set up a series of bell tents for guests to stay in. Catering was handled by Eat The Street which was a really relaxed way to serve the wedding breakfast. Being a festival music is obviously a big part of this. Yep, you guessed it, they nailed it. As guests enjoyed an aperitif a skiffle band played in the magical evening light, following this was the groom’s brother who is an immensely talented guitar player and singer (think Bombay Bicycle Club) who played to guests after dinner. Then came the party… A Live Band had the dance floor packed for every song they played. Playing the big indie hits they blew the roof off. And as if this wasn’t enough music, a silent disco followed. 3 channels – ‘Bangers’, ‘Classics’ and ‘Dance’. If you haven’t experienced a silent disco I would thoroughly recommend it. Just be prepared for a considerably awful noise if you take your headphones off at any point.

All in all such a fantastic wedding and organised to perfection.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Ingoldby!
